The www.comfortpure.co.uk website aims to comply with the W3C WAI's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and aim for our pages to conform to Level AA Compliance checkpoints. The site has been created with accessibility in mind by using these W3C standards and recommendations. As such, www.comfortpure.co.uk has the following features: All pages use well-structured semantic markup. For example, h1 tags are used for main titles and then h2, h3 used for subtitles.
Users can change the size of the text that is displayed, by adjusting it within the browser menu. For Internet Explorer users, select View > Text Size and then choose the size. For Firefox users, select View > Text Size and then 'increase' or 'decrease'. Safari users, select View and then choose 'Zoom In' or 'Zoom Out'. For Chrome users, select Customize then choose the plus (+) or minus (-) buttons next to 'Zoom'.
The site has been made as accessible as possible by using language that the widest possible audience can understand, and never relying on colour as the sole means of communicating a message. Text equivalents have been provided where necessary for imagery throughout the site. Tables are used for displaying data, not as a means to layout content. HTML alternatives for any Flash interactions.
